As June arrives, the Mount Shasta region is welcoming the beauty of early
summer. We hope this message finds you well.

Today, we would like to share an important update from Stoney Brook Inn.

It has been 25 years since we first opened our doors.
Nestled in the small historic town of McCloud, at the southeastern base of
Mount Shasta, Stoney Brook Inn has welcomed travelers from around the
world seeking rest, renewal, and connection with nature.

There is something timeless about this town. Many guests tell us that the
moment they arrive, they feel as though time slows down.
Away from the demands of modern life, they find a place to refresh both
body and spirit.

Each year, visitors from across the United States, Japan, and many other
countries come to experience the natural beauty and mystery of
Mount Shasta.

Whether traveling with family, friends, or loved ones, they enjoy hiking,
skiing, outdoor adventures, and the unique sense of wonder that this region inspires.

One of the most special qualities of Stoney Brook Inn is the connections that naturally form among our guests. People who have just met often find themselves sharing conversations as if they were old friends. Warm, genuine
friendships seem to blossom here in unexpected ways.

Our hope is to continue providing a comfortable and welcoming place where guests can fully experience the beauty, peace, and inspiration of
Mount Shasta for many years to come.

However, after more than a century of standing proudly in this historic
community, our building now requires significant restoration and
maintenance.
In addition, several large pine trees surrounding the property require
professional care to help preserve and protect the inn for the future.

The cost of restoring and preserving a historic property is substantial.
To help us continue this work, we have launched a GoFundMe campaign and are humbly asking for your support.

place and ensure that future generations of travelers can continue to
experience the warmth and spirit of Stoney Brook Inn.

In 2026, we feel that a new chapter is unfolding for this small inn.

We sense a growing wave of love and connection spreading through
the hearts of people around the world, much like the pure waters that flow
through the Mount Shasta region, creating a continuous and ever-expanding circle of renewal and care.

Water has no fixed form, which allows it to flow wherever it is needed. In
the same way, even the smallest acts of kindness can reach the hearts of
others and create meaningful change.


For the past twenty-five years, we have had the privilege of welcoming
guests from near and far and sharing the spirit of this special place.
At times, it feels as though we have simply been entrusted with the care of Stoney Brook Inn by the mountain itself.
